Ashley Madekwe and Ashley Leggat

Madekwe comes from a multicultural family. Her birthplace was within South London. Her mother and father were both English. She was raised in a south London council estate, and went to The Brit School at age fourteen. In London, she studied at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in which her acting diploma was awarded. In her time at the school, she performed in several stage productions, like the King Henry V's Princess Katherine or Wuthering Heights.
Madekwe's acting journey began with Storm Damage. Since then she has appeared in Teachers as well as Doctors. Madekwe's debut film role was Woody Allen's Cassandra's Dream (2007), with Colin Farrell. Following that success she was cast as Elisha in the single-episode BBC Three drama pilot West 10 LDN, and appeared in six episodes of Trexx and Flipside playing Ollie. The ITV2 drama Secret Diary of a Call Girl saw her in 2008 as Bambi. Madekwe was the main character on How to Lose Friends And Alienate Others, a comedy that was released in the year 2008. Her theatre credits include Little Sweet Thing by Roy Williams and Flight Path by David Watson.
Madekwe was officially introduced to her US debut in the series The Beautiful Life in 2009. The series aired only two episodes at The CW, and was later removed from the air. The actress was selected in February 2011 as Ashley Davenport on the ABC drama Revenge. Madekwe's departure from the series was confirmed in May 2013. Following two seasons as the main character she appeared as a guest in the opening episode of season three. From 2014 until 2016she appeared in Salem as Tituba. Madekwe, her long-time companion, Iddo, married Madekwe in June of 2012. They both appeared on Secret Diary of a Call Girl. They also played as a couple in Salem.

Ashley Leggat, an actress nominated twice for a Gemini Award, hails from a large Hamilton family. Ashley Leggat was born to Roy and Patty along with her three older siblings - Brett, Todd and Bram as well as Rob. Ashley's brothers were all extremely athletic, and they played baseball as well as hockey throughout the winter and summer months. Her childhood was spent in the arenas and baseball. Ashley was never able to actually walk. She would dance. So when she was just 2 1/2 years old when she was a little older, she began to take part in Baby Ballet. This was the beginning of Ashley's love for dancing. Ashley was a competitor in ballet, tap and jazz at the top divisions. All of the big dance events, such as International Dance Challenge, Showstoppers, 56-7-8 Showtime, Flash Dance, Dance, Dance, Dance, have awarded her the title "top individualist".
