Aspen Ladd

Aspen Ladd's journey in combat sports started at the age of 14. After her kickboxing and boxing lessons, wrestling BJJ and BJJ, she made her amateur debut against Jaimee Nievera at WCFC when she was 18 years old. Ladd continued to build on her win on the night of Ultimate Reno Combat, where she won three consecutive fights. She defeated all her opponents within the first round. Then she returned to WCFC and defeated Leslie Rodriguez via unanimous decision. Aspen was able to defeat Silvia Babaeghian and Maddy Simmons before fighting Cynthia Calvillo at WCFC 9. Cynthia beat Aspen, and beat Cynthia by a majority vote. Cynthia's record as an amateur was affected. Ladd rebounded from her defeat and beat Roma Pawelek at Tuff-N-Uff to increase her record to 8-1. Aspen became a professional in the year 2015. Aspen signed with Invicta FC and made her debut. Invicta 11, she dominated Ana Carolina Vidal to score an KO early in the round. Invicta Fc 16 represented her first match as a Bantamweight. Aspen defeated Amanda Cooper with an armbar submission at the end of the second round. Aspen's superior wrestling skill took down McGill her first time, and she was able finish her third round with a TKO (elbows as well as punches). The next fight was against Jessica Hoy at Invicta FC 18 at catchweight(138.1lb) as Ladd did not reach her weight, but Aspen took on Hoy before putting her down in the 2nd round by TKO. It was Invicta's FC 21 that she fought her last match for the company. She defeated Sijara Ebanks via a unanimous vote. Aspen Ladd's UFC debut came at UFC Fight Night 118 when she took on Lina Lansberg. Aspen Ladd defeated Lina through a pound and pound victory during her second fight. Her dominance grew and she was able to win a thrilling fight at the end of her fight against Tonya Evinger. UFC 229 Ladd beat Evinger in just the first minute and earned a reward for her performance during the evening. Her debut fight was during her subsequent fight in UFC Fight Night dos Anjos against. Lee against Sijara Eubanks in the Invicta FC rematch. Ladd's win was a majority verdict, and also her Fight of the Night award was presented to the two fighters. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie defeated Ladd within just 16 seconds, which was enough in order to stop her winning streak. She came back to finish Yana Kunitskaya after the third round on UFC on ESPN 7. She took on Norma Dumont as a substitute in her most recent fight with the UFC in UFC Fight Night 195. It was a loss by unanimous decision.
